The seventh annual Pink Lake International LGBT Festival, will again be held on the beautiful Lake Wörthersee, Austria from Aug 28-31.
At Lake Woerthersee summer starts earlier – and ends later – than much of Europe. The 17 kilometer long alpine Lake Woerthersee in the Austrian state of Carinthia lies in the region where Austria, Italy and Slovenia all border one another. Through the years, Lake Woethersee has developed its very own variety of relaxed southern culture which has many facets and can be encountered in many different ways. Simply stated, Lake Woerthersee is more than a beautiful lake and region: it is a way of life.
Austria’s sunny south views itself as “the lifestyle stage of Central Europe” and underpins this with numerous, diverse and popular events, coupled with hot and trendy nightlife offerings. The Pink Lake Festival is the unique LGBT highlight in the event calendar of Velden on Lake Woerthersee and guests from near and far all again can certainly look forward to a wonderful and memorable late summer event this year.
The 2014 Pink Lake Beach Club is located in the SOL Beach Club, an amazing location with well over 300 m2 of fine sand beach, direct access to the lake and a huge roof terrace. Pink Lake guests can enjoy the festival here at this location during the day to relax, sunbathe, swim, taste the delicious snacks and drinks and participate in various water sports and fun and games activities.
