Each year, The San Diego LGBT Community Center celebrates the birthday of the legendary Mexican artist Frida Kahlo with Pachanga de Frida. This year’s event will take place on Saturday, June 28 from 6 pm to 10 pm. Hosted by Francesca, guests will enjoy dancing to the sounds of the Manny Cepeda Orchestra and and DJ La Voz spinning a wide array of Latin music, sampling tacos provided by Baja Betty’s, beer from our friends at Hillcrest Brewing Company, entering our Frida look-a-like contest and, of course, tasting a little tequila! Frida Kahlo Tequila is sponsoring the tequila this year. Premium tequila Margaritas and shots will be just $5.
Please note this is a 21+ event. Tickets are $15 online and $20 at the door. The event is a benefit for The Center’s Latino Services.
