Eunime is an orphanage for children with HIV/AIDS just across the border in Tijuana, Mexico. The orphanage currently house 31 kids living with HIV and has just received a new born of four months old and they are expecting two more children under five in terminal stages and whom they hope to get healthy again.
The orphanage is named after Eunice and Noemi the first known cases of HIV in kids in TIjuana. It’s mission is to provide services and comprehensive care for children and adolescents with HIV/AIDS to improve physical and mental health, offering support groups, educational workshops to eliminate discrimination and provide a more effective HIV/AIDS prevention response.
These children depend on Eunime 100 percent to cover their basic medical needs. From food and clothing, footwear, housing and schooling. Eunime works to reintegrate the children into society by providing educational and recreational activities so they can enjoy a healthy life and thus develop their innate potential as children, teenagers and young adults.
Eunime is currently in need of funds to help with the costs of newborn items, such as clothes, diapers, baby formula, cribs as well as other costs.
