LOS ANGELES – Today, 1Life Festival announced its nationwide search for one lucky couple to tie the knot this Independence Day weekend with a dream wedding celebration at “America’s First Gay Massive.”
To celebrate equality in light of the legalization of gay marriage in California, 1Life is giving way the ultimate wedding package to the perfect couple that embodies the spirit and commitment of “1LIFE – 1LOVE”, representing the notion that all love is equal and should be celebrated and cherished.
1Life invites everyone to be a part of this competition, either by entering with their committed partner or by voting to help select the lucky winners who will now get to celebrate their wedding anniversary every 4th of July weekend.
The dream wedding package includes a ceremony inside the festival on July 5th, two 3-day festival passes for the couple and round-trip airfare from their hometown (within the United States) and Los Angeles. They will enjoy their 4-night stay in a deluxe hotel room in the city and a private limousine ride will serve as transportation to and from the festival on July 5th. They will also receive 8 tickets to the 1Life Festival on July 5th for friends and family to attend. The dream wedding will take place during the festival with a hosted private VIP reception for guests. A private photographer will document both the ceremony and reception to preserve the memory of once in a lifetime event. The lucky couple will also receive a honeymoon with 5 nights in a poolside room at the Island House Resort in Key West, FL.
Committed couples can enter the competition by answering a short questionnaire on the 1Life Festival website (http://www.1lifefest.com/contest.php) explaining why they should be chosen as the perfect “1LIFE – 1LOVE” couple and submitting photos to be used throughout the contest.
During the first stage of the competition all couples that enter will have the questionnaire answers and photos posted on the “1Life – 1Love” contest page. The public is invited and encouraged to join in and vote for the couple whose wedding they would most like to celebrate at the 1Life Festival. The top 8 couples will move on to the next stage.
In the second stage of the competition the top 8 couples will post a video on the 1Life – 1Love page explaining why they should be picked to win the ultimate dream wedding and celebrate with thousands at the 1Life Festival. The couple with the greatest number of votes will win the dream wedding ceremony and will be announced on May 30.
