The extreme hardship of being young and homeless is something most of us may witness within our community, but will likely never experience first-hand or fully comprehend. Homelessness is constantly referred to as one of our communities’ biggest social issues, but few can actually empathize with the issues of the population or have had the chance to understand how one can reach such dire situations of economic hardship.
This summer, community-based theater company, Circle Circle dot dot will take audiences into the world of Daisy, a young, disabled woman who unexpectedly finds herself in exactly that hardship, and must do whatever it takes to survive. No Place Like Home is a world premiere acoustic-musical written and directed by Soroya Rowley and Andrew Steele, based on true stories of residents of PATH (People Assisting The Homeless) in San Diego. Join Circle Circle dot dot for an informative, entertaining, and touching perspective of another side of our humanity. Discover the journey some must take to the place we call home.
The cast includes Katherine Harroff (Daisy), Jon Huckaby (Chris), Taylor Wycoff (Mary), Patrick Kelly (Gabriel), Andrew Steele (Greg), Stacey Hardke (Player 1), Michael Nieto (Player 2).
