PALM SPRINGS – In keeping with his tradition of presenting the hottest new breakout talent and artists poised for super stardom, White Party Palm Springs founder and producer Jeffrey Sanker unveiled initial names for this year’s 25th anniversary celebration. White Party Palm Springs is the largest gay dance music festival in the world, happening April 25-28, 2014.
2013 American Music Award winner for “Best New Artist,” Ariana Grande will perform live at the Saturday night main event at the Palm Springs Convention Center. Fresh off a Presidential appearance at the White House, singer and actress Ariana Grande gained international notoriety as a pop vocalist when her single, “The Way” from her debut studio album, Yours Truly (2013) became a top ten hit on the Billboard Hot 100 and was certified double platinum by the RIAA.
Sanker commented, “As we commemorate White Party’s 25th Anniversary we look ahead to the future, Ariana Grande is one of today’s fastest rising superstars and is destined for pop icon status.”
Additionally, International recording artist Bleona will take the stage at the Friday night “Addicted to White” Underwear Party, sponsored by ES Collection. The chart-topping, Euro-Turned-Hollywood Pop Star makes an anticipated return to White Party after last year’s acclaimed Pool Party Performance. The pop diva will debut her new single, complete with plenty of glowing surprises for attendees.
“The next great girl group” G.R.L. will lead the entertainment roster for Sunday’s T-Dance. Formed by famed impresario Robin Antin (Pussycat Dolls/Girlicious), the all-girl, American-British-Canadian group is currently burning up the charts as Pitbull’s featured performers on his new single, “Wild Wild Love.” This powerhouse five-member ensemble will perform songs from their upcoming album.
And, to benefit DESERT AIDS PROJECT in 2014 Sanker house enlisted the talents of internationally recognized conceptual photographer Duke Shoman to create beautiful and striking photographic tableaus with all the talent. In keeping with the “Silver Anniversary” theme, a sleek, sexy, modern chamber of shinning and brilliant silver will be the setting that stars will step into, following their arrival on the White Carpet, to commemorate this 25 year milestone.
