In response to “Tiring of Nicole’s abrasive views” (LGBT Weekly March 13, issue 142)

I have always seen Nicole to be an exceptionally talented social person and many a person should learn how you should always have something positive to say/observe about someone in public. Hint. I had the pleasure of serving with her shortly on the Gala Committee and the title is truly deserving.

Hooray for Mr. Szakalski
Dear Editor,
In response to R. Szakalski’s letter in the March 13, issue #142 of LGBT Weekly, I would like to say hooray for him. Nicole Murray Ramirez is a tired old queen who should be put to pasture with all the other cows. Why do you allow him to use the quote “Mayor of Hillcrest”? Are people still afraid of him? He hasn’t blown up or burnt down a bar in years. Sad he does not realize after 40 years no one cares if he writes a column as the only people that read it are who he writes about.
