A new video series from HRC, “Debunking the Myths: Transgender Health & Well-Being” attempts to bust some of the common and sometimes harmful misconceptions that surround the lived experiences of transgender and gender nonconforming people.
From schools and hospitals, to the workplace and places of worship, we continue to see that more and more transgender people are living openly and bringing their full selves to the table.

HRC’s latest video series, produced in partnership with Pride at Work, busts some of these more common misconceptions, starting with “Myth #1: Surgery is a top priority for all transgender people.”
