Join the Gay Lesbian Straight Education Network (GLSEN) San Diego County Chapter for a night of fun and laughter to raise money to create safe schools for all. GLSEN San Diego County is holding a Comedy “Fun”draiser Sunday, March 9 at Diversionary Theatre, 4545 Park Blvd. This 21 and up event will start with a wine and cheese reception from 7:30 – 8:00 p.m. followed by a hilarious night of stand-up comedy by local comedians starting at 8:00 p.m.
Tickets are $20 and include the wine and cheese reception. Tickets can be purchased here.
The host for the evening is GLSEN San Diego County Co-Chair and comedian Chet Sewell. Local comedians scheduled to perform include Sarah Burford, Tony Calabrese, Chris Clobber, Al Gavi, Steve Heyl, Diane Jean.
All proceeds from the event will go towards supporting area high school Gay Straight Alliances, GLSEN San Diego’s Jump-Start Student Leadership Team, training teachers, staff, and administrators on how to create safe schools for all students and providing schools with inclusive curriculum.
