Sixteen years ago, Big Mike started what has now become a tradition in San Diego – celebrating his birthday as a fundraiser to help raise much needed funds for non-profit organizations.
This year, Harvey Milk’s American Diner will open its doors to host this year’s birthday fundraiser to benefit the Toni Atkins Women’s Health Fund.
The celebration will be held Sunday, Jan. 26 4-7 p.m. at Harvey Milk’s American Diner, 535 University Ave. in Hillcrest.
Every year Big Mike has picked a different organization he believes in and supports and has helped raise hundreds of thousands of dollars during the past 16 years.
