Last month, Stockholm Pride won Gold and People’s Choice in the Lovie Awards for the much acclaimed campaign #GOWEST. Since the campaign was a protest against the LGBT-ban in Russia, Stockholm Pride had other plans for the heart shaped gold statuette. It was sent to president Vladimir Putin along with the inscription: To a man with a heart of stone, here’s a heart of gold.
