MIAMI BEACH, Fla. – Organizers of the National Gay and Lesbian Task Force’s Winter Party Festival have announced that the Shelborne Wyndham Grand South Beach Hotel will once again serve as the host hotel for the 21st edition of this iconic celebration. Before that, the Shelborne will undergo a $150 million room and common area redesign, renovation and relaunch which will give Winter Party Festival guests a completely new experience, organizers say. Winter Party Festival 2014 will take place March 5 – 10 at venues throughout Miami Beach and Miami.
The quintessential 200-room South Beach historic property is undergoing a complete upgrade and transformation to restore its original glamour and cater to the sophisticated travelers it looks forward to hosting. Since assuming responsibility for the events in 2004, the Task Force has provided more than $1.6 million from the proceeds of Winter Party Festival and the annual Miami Recognition Dinner to LGBT organizations in South Florida.
