Boomont Park Fall Festival and Haunt

Why just celebrate Halloween Oct. 31 when you can celebrate all month long? Belmont Park is excited to announce their first annual Boomont Park Fall Festival and Haunt! Every Friday, Saturday and Sunday in October join them in Mission Beach for nights of family-friendly Halloween fun, including a haunted house, zombie laser tag and a pumpkin patch.

Experience a cultural extravaganza that showcases India’s diversity and traditions. See colorful dances from different states in India. Stroll along El Prado and visit the booths put up by people from each state to observe how different their clothes, food and traditions are, and to see brides and grooms from almost every state in India. Walk a little further and witness the lighting of 1,008 lamps representing India’s different states, religions and traditions. Taste a smorgasbord of delicious Indian food served behind the Organ Pavilion all through the evening by local Indian restaurants.

The Haunted Trail

Take a stroll through the park you will never forget. Enter the mile long Trail through the twisted grove of pines and gnarled oaks. Visitors watch your back, you’ll never know which way the terror will hit you. True to form, the Trail is not for children under 10 or the faint of heart. Experience an outdoor terror that is simply too big to house indoors. This year The Haunted Trail features an additional maze called The eXperiment. For five extra bones you can find out what happens when Mother Nature takes her eye off the ball for even just a second.

An award-winning multicultural comedy that explains the beautiful Day of the Dead tradition. When Memo, a Latino angel, invites his friends back to Earth to visit his family’s alter, they have to trek through dangerous Mictlan, the Aztec underworld. Their perilous but uplifting journey leads them into a conflict with the deadly Aztec Prince of Darkness, the evil Miclantecutli. This popular family show is energetic, fun and educational.
