The Complete Frida Kahlo—Her Paintings. Her Life. Her Story, making its North American premiere in San Diego, was due to open Oct. 19, and run through Jan. 19, 2014, at historic NTC at Liberty Station.
The opening has been delayed due to complications at U.S. Customs in Los Angeles as a result of the government shutdown. The exhibition was shipped from the Kunstmuseum Gehrke-Remund in Baden-Baden, Germany, where it was originally curated.
The gala opening has been rescheduled to Thursday, Oct. 24.
