“Full of Pride this weekend! All San Diegans, regardless of sexual orientation, can be proud of how far our country has come. In just the last three years we all have worked together to gain more equality in our military and federal government and we have expanded marriage equality. More to come!
“In the words of Harvey Milk ‘hope will never be silent’! We must keep the pendulum of equality swinging toward progress. As a member of Congress, I will continue to proudly stand with the members of the LGBT community in the pursuit of true equality and complete inclusion.”
