July 7, the Aventine and ArtWalk San Diego will take Art à la Carte to the next level and everyone is invited! Between 5 and 8 p.m., this monthly pop-up art series will feature a special installment exclusively showcasing the works of art critic, collector and celebrated art dealer Alexander Salazar. The alfresco occasion welcomes all ages to attend and enjoy visual and culinary feasts in the Aventine’s “restaurant row” and acclaimed restaurants.This Art à la Carte experience will be a rare chance for art lovers to get up close and personal with some of the most talented and collectible artists in the world, as well as with curator Alexander Salazar, who will be on site throughout the evening to meet and mingle with attendees.
And, following your “fill” of artwork, take a summery seat on the patios of the Aventine’s acclaimed restaurants-including Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar, Truluck’s Seafood, Steak & Crab House, The Melting Pot and Cafe Japengo-for happy hour all night long.
