The San Diego Sqooterheads, in association with Mo’s Universe, are proud to present the Stonewall Anniversary Scooter Roundup, taking place under the Hillcrest Pride Flag this Friday June 28, 8:30-10:30 p.m. — the 44th anniversary of the Stonewall Rebellion that gave birth to the modern LGBTQ rights movement.
The Roundup is for anyone in the community to come and check out dozens of cool Vespas and other scooters … and meet LGBTQ scooterists from around the country who are in town for Amerivespa 2013 – the nation’s largest gathering of scooter riders.
There’s no need to have a scooter to enjoy the Roundup. People should get to the Pride Flag by 8:30 p.m. if they want to be there in time see all the scooters riding by to the Hillcrest Brewing Company/Gossip Grill parking lot.
Organizers invite everyone to come by, see some cool scooters, and meet LGBTQ scooterists from around the country.
