SAN DIEGO — Yesterday, thousands of San Diegans dined out, volunteered and donated to Dining out for Life® to support The San Diego LGBT Community Center’s HIV services and prevention programs.
In a message of appreciation The San Diego LGBT Community Center issues the following statement,
“On behalf of the board of directors, staff, volunteers, and clients of The San Diego LGBT Community Center, please accept our heartfelt thanks for making the seventh annual Dining Out for Life® San Diego such a tremendous success!
We are truly grateful to everyone who participated in this amazing, community-wide fundraising event. We also want to extend our most sincere thanks to our participating restaurants and the owners, managers, chefs and servers who worked so hard yesterday. Without them, this event could not happen.
The enthusiasm and generosity of everyone who participated will make a huge difference as The Center continues to do all we can to serve those living with HIV/AIDS and prevent new infections in San Diego.”
