SAN DIEGO — Dining Out for Life® San Diego has expressed deep gratitude to San Diego’s Mission restaurants, who recently announced that all three of its locations – North Park, East Village and Mission Beach – would donate 100 percent of their day’s sales to the event.
“HIV is an issue that hits close to home for all of us. Everyone knows and remembers someone who has been affected, so we’ve always supported this important community effort,” said Deborah Helm, owner of the Mission restaurants. “Dining Out is another great way to help The Center get the resource it needs for HIV services.”
“We’ve loved being part of this event from the start and we are excited to help it grow,” explained Helms. “My partners, Tom Fitzpatrick and Fay Nakanishi, and I knew we wanted to give even more this year so we came together and unanimously decided to increase our commitment to 100 percent.”
