SAN DIEGO – San Diego LGBT Pride has announced a partnership with the Tom Homann LGBT Law Association and California Western School of Law’s Pride Law to help the LGBT community get in touch with local legal services. Pride is expanding services by establishing a new volunteer run Pride Legal Clinic to address the legal concerns of the LGBT community and to provide a local point of contact to assist in finding answers to legal questions.
Walk-in services will be provided with attorneys that can assess legal questions and use their resources to ensure needs are met.
Pride’s first legal clinic will be held Tuesday, April 2, from 5 – 7 p.m. at the San Diego LGBT Pride Office, 3620 30th Street, in San Diego.
Attorney specialties will include family law, civil harassment, real estate and land use, and immigration. In addition attorneys will be able to assist and answer questions in other legal areas, or direct individuals to relevant legal contacts.
For questions about the clinic please contact Doug Sangster at legal@sdpride.org or call 619-297-7683 ext. 120.
