Being Alive San Diego will hold an enormous yard sale Saturday March 16 8 a.m. – 1 p.m. at their offices at 4070 Centre Street. The yard sales are conducted with donated items from clients and people in the community.
The yard sale proceeds will go to Being Alive’s Food Bank, called Daniel’s Pantry. With more than 350 clients each month, the monetary need is very high. Being Alive strives to ensure that none of their clients go hungry during the month.
Donations for the yard sale are accepted and appreciated. If you have items to donate contact Harrison McCall at 619-291-1400 x 320 for more information.
Being Alive San Diego’s mission is to deliver quality and compassionate services to people affected by HIV/AIDS and to provide education to those in need. Being Alive was formed by 6 HIV + individuals in 1989 to address the need for “peer driven” support and services. Today Being Alive is the longest running AIDS service organization in San Diego, serving more than 10,000 individuals every year.
