The Victory Fund’s annual Champagne Brunch in San Diego will take place Sunday, Feb. 10 at the Catamaran Resort Hotel & Spa, 3999 Mission Blvd. in San Diego. Special guests will include Pennsylvania Rep. Brian Sims and California state Sen. Christine Kehoe.
California has one of the largest LGBT legislative caucuses in the country, in no small part due to trailblazers like Kehoe.
Pennsylvania, however, went 225 years without a single openly gay state lawmaker. It’s one of the largest states in America where LGBT employees can still be fired just for being who they are and where couples lack even basic relationship recognition like domestic partnerships.

After working for years to change that, last year Brian Sims decided it was time to run for office. After much support, he won and will bring his strong, authentic voice to the Pennsylvania legislature.
Individual tickets for the Champagne Brunch are $125. There are various sponsorship levels available including Presenting Sponsor ($10,000), Gold ($5,000), Silver ($2,500), Bronze ($1,500) and Table Host ($1,250).
