Multicultural Festival
The Multicultural Festival showcases San Diego’s rich cultural diversity and traditional heritage through live music, dance performances, storytelling, children’s activities and a wide range of food and retail vendors. It was renamed the Sheila R. Hardin Multicultural Festival in 2011 in honor of the late Sheila R. Hardin, a long-time community activist and the driving force behind the Multi- cultural Festival.

Water Lilies/Nymphéas
French Impressionist painter Claude Monet created some of his most famous works of art depicting his gardens of Giverney in the 1890’s. In creating work for the 11th annual Cabaret Dances, Artistic Director Jean Isaacs is embracing the impressionist ethos that tries to capture an image that has only been “glimpsed” and is not detail oriented. All choreography is by Jean Isaacs. Dancers include Trystan Loucado on break from an international tour with Les Ballet de Trocadero de Monte Carlo.
