The Women of Color United San Diego, Women’s Resource Center and Passage Playground Productions will be presenting the film premiere and an evening with the cast and director of If I Was Your Girl 2, Dec. 30, 6-9 p.m. at The San Diego LGBT Community Center, 3909 Centre Street in San Diego.
The director, Coquie Hughes, is an urban filmmaker and a driving force in the independent filmmaking community. Her work speaks to the issues concerning lesbian and bisexual families in urban African American culture.
