The Hillcrest Wind Ensemble (HWE) holiday concert will feature music from The Nutcracker.
The concert, to be held 8 p.m. Friday Dec. 14 at the Joan Kroc Theater, 6845 University Ave., will include The San Diego Dance Company with The Wheel Chair Dancers doing modern and interpretive dance to this Tchaikovsky masterpiece. Lighter holiday classics will also be performed and the concert will also feature local jazz vocalist, Andrea Sperling and classical vocalist Enrique Toral.
A portion of the concert proceeds will go to The Challenge Center of La Mesa.
