10 News has reported that in their final poll conducted before tomorrow’s mayoral election Bob Filner maintains a slim lead over Carl DeMaio.
The survey conducted by SurveyUSA between Oct. 31 and Nov. 4 shows Filner with 49 percent of the votes compared to DeMaio’s 45 percent, with 7 percent undecided.
According to the poll Filner and DeMaio are tied among men voters, but Filner is leading among women voters with 51 percent against DeMaio’s 43 percent.
The survey shows strong support for DeMaio among older voters with younger voters more likely to support Filner.
For this final poll SurveyUSA interviewed 696 registered voters, with 622 “likely” to vote.
