The San Diego Democrats for Equality 2012 Freedom Awards will be held Saturday Nov. 17 at “1202,” the new nightclub on the corner of Vermont and University Avenue located at 1202 University Ave. The event begins at 6 p.m.
The focus of this year’s awards will be a tribute to the legacy of Sen. Christine Kehoe and her many years of service promoting equality and Democratic values throughout San Diego and the state of California.
Tickets are $50 for members and $60 for non-members. For sustaining members, tickets are $25. The event is free for patron and sponsoring members, and patrons may also bring a guest for free.
