Restaurants in Mission Hills will host the first annual Taste of Mission Hills Tuesday, Oct. 16 from 5 – 9 p.m. Council President pro tem Kevin L. Faulconer will announce and dedicate the area of India Street North, International Restaurant Row at 6:30 p.m.
A free Old Town Trolley shuttle will transport tasters to participating restaurants, to sample specialty menus.
Tickets are $20 and are available at the Mission Hills Farmer’s Market held every Wednesday night 3 -7 p.m. on Falcon Street; State Farm, 928 Ft. Stockton, # 105; Gelato Vero, 3753 India Street or US Bank, 610 W. Washington Street.
Participating restaurants offering menu items are: The Wellington, The Red Door, Saffron, Shakespeare Pub & Grill, Lefty’s Chicago Pizzeria, Gelato Vero Caffe, Meshuggah Shack, Cake Bakery, Shakespeare’s Corner Shoppe & Afternoon Tea, Rubicon Deli, The Regal Beagle, Olivetto, Starlight Lounge and Brooklyn Girl.
