The San Diego Kings Club will celebrate their twelfth anniversary Oct. 14 at 8 p.m. with a show at Numbers Night Club, 3811 Park Blvd. in San Diego.
Created in the fall of 2000 by Drag King Chest Rockwell, the San Diego Kings Club are one of the oldest drag king groups still in existence. The San Diego Kings Club anniversary show will be hosted by Regina Styles and will feature Gigi Masters, Kiki Masters, Cheyenne Masters, Cassidy Richards Masters, Wilfred Paloma, the Boylesque Tomcats, DJ t00kansam and many more. There will be a $5 cover and happy hour specials at the bar all night.
The San Diego Kings Club current lineup is founding member Rudy Ramrod, emcee Regina Styles, Smokey Gonzales, Whiskey Dick, and their newest member Charlie Foster. The San Diego Kings Club host a monthly open forum show at Numbers Night Club called Drag it Out where everyone from first timers to professionals are encouraged to get onstage.
In a press release the San Diego Kings Club stated: “The San Diego Kings Club enjoys giving back to their communities as much as performing. The San Diego Kings Club performs and donates their time to a variety of charity events in addition to hosting many fundraisers on their own Drag it Out nights.”
