San Diego Pride has put out a call for volunteers to join the American Cancer Society Relay for Life.
Relay for Life is a high-spirited event where everyone in the community can join in the fight against cancer.
The San Diego Pride team will camp out overnight and take turns walking around the track to raise money and awareness to help the American Cancer Society create a world with less cancer and more birthdays.
The Relay for Life will be held Aug. 25 at Trolley Barn Park in University Heights.
