SD Hoops have put a call out for volunteers to join them at AIDS Walk San Diego 2012. They’re looking for volunteers who want to join them as they pass out water bottles from 5:30-10:30a.m. Sunday, Sept. 30. Volunteers will need to attend orientation Saturday, Sept. 29 from 2-3 p.m. in Balboa Park. All who volunteer will be given a free T-shirt featuring the new SD Hoops league logo. In other news, SD Hoops have added an Open Gym Saturdays from 12:30-2:30 p.m. at Golden Hills Rec. Center.
Also, Saturday, Oct. 6 SD Hoops will be hosting their 3-on-3 tournament. The first 12 teams to sign up (max. 5 players per roster) will be accepted. It will be $75/team to enter. The tournament will be a one-day event, to help kick off the 2012-2013 SD Hoops regular season, which begins with the Draft Party, Oct. 13.
