‘LGBT Weekly’ Pride Star: And the winner is …

Last month, San Diego LGBT Weekly asked readers, “Who is your LGBT Pride Star?” After sifting through nominations, we ended up with three finalists: Congresswoman Susan Davis; LGBT Weekly writer and local LGBT community activist, Will Kennedy-Rodriguez and fellow activist and community volunteer, Brandon Tate-McWilliams.

The winner is Tate-McWilliams; chosen on account of his long history of work, advocacy and volunteering for LGBT causes. Kennedy-Rodriguez had to be disqualified, because of his affiliation with this newsmagazine. Congresswoman Davis, who was certainly worthy, probably doesn’t need a set of promotional house, techno, dubstep, indie and trance CDs.

  1. Thanks LGBT Weekly Team. So when do I get my set of promotional house, techno, dubstep, indie and trance CDs? That sounds cool! 🙂
