SAN DIEGO – My Sister’s Closet, the nation’s largest designer consignment resale store, hosts “Giving Back is the New Black” – a charitable afternoon of fun and fashion taking place at My Sister’s Closet’s flagship San Diego location (8610 Genesee Avenue) on Saturday, June 23 from 1 to 3 p.m.
The highlight of the afternoon will be the live modeling of items from My Sister’s Closet and its men’s counterpart Well Suited, featuring this summer’s hottest looks. In addition, the store will be transformed into an outdoor lounge complete with a DJ and two bars serving up designer cocktails and delectable edibles.
Attendees are asked to donate $10, with 100 percent of the proceeds going to the Helen Woodward Animal Center. The Helen Woodward Animal Center will also be on site with several adoptable dogs for anyone looking for the ultimate summer companion.
To RSVP or obtain more information, please call (858) 455-0045. The first 50 guests will receive a custom designed reusable bag filled with goodies from My Sister’s Closet and other sponsors, so there is no such thing as being fashionably late to this event.
