San Diego district attorney Bonnie Dumanis released a plan to improve city operations Thursday, but the mayoral hopeful is facing heat for allegedly plagiarizing the document from the County’s General Management System Manual.
San Diego Reader explains that Erik Bruvold, president of National University System Institute for Policy Research, researched the document and found that many of its pages were copied from the original manual.
“She plagiarized word for word, page after page, from the county’s document,” he told San Diego Reader.
Dumanis did acknowledge the document was derived from the county’s manual after successfully implementing the plan back in 2003.
