The Laugh Out Proud comedy show, San Diego’s only comedy show geared toward the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community, returns March 8. Headlining the new show will be Mal Hall who has performed at universities across the country as part of NBC’s Diversity Tour, and was the winner of the 2009 Orange County Comedy Competition. Other featured artists will include local LGBT comedians Arthur Montalvo, Sarah Burford and Sean Wherley, and Los Angeles-based LGBT comic Jiavani Linayao.
The show begins at 8 p.m. and is held at Martinis Above Fourth, 3940 Fourth Ave., Suite 200, in San Diego. There is a $5 cover charge and the show is 21 and up. Reservations can be made by calling 619-400-4500 or visiting martinisabovefourth.com.
The Laugh Out Proud comedy show is produced by Sean Wherley and Sarah Burford and is designed to showcase the region’s top LGBT and allied comedians in a safe environment for the LGBT community.
