Post-Prop. 8 Victory: SD Dems for Equality announces flurry of events in coming days

Gay San DiegoDiegoThe San Diego Democrats for Equality has announced several local events amid the Proposition 8 victory in which an appeals court has determined the measure unconstitutional. Allies and activists are encouraged to get involved and attend the following San Diego-based events to celebrate Tuesday’s epic win for the LGBT community.

Tuesday, February 7th at 6 p.m.

Participants will march from 6th & University to Joyce Beers Community Center.

The San Diego LGBT Community Center, San Diego Pride, Marriage Equality USA and the San Diego Alliance for Marriage Equality (SAME) are encouraging community members to gather for a rally at Sixth Avenue and University Avenue at 6 pm. Participants are encouraged to bring signs of celebration and to wear rainbow attire.
