Mitt Romney was glitterbombed Wednesday in Eagan, Minnesota by an LGBT activist in wake of the former Massachusetts governor’s track record within the gay and lesbian community.
Romney had an answer for the glitterbombing calling it “confetti” in celebration of his Florida victory. “There is the guy! Waive your hand over here, through the glitter, there he goes. Hi there!… Good to see you!” he said. “I’m happy for the celebration!… We’re gonna win the White House next!”
Later during his appearance, the former governor was glitterbombed again as he signed autographs. It appears security intervened in the glitterbombing by detaining the LGBT advocate.
