It was 30 years ago that guitarists Susanna Hoffs and Vicki Peterson and drummer Debbi Peterson formed the Bangles in a Brentwood, Calif. garage. They did so based on two crucial elements: their common love for rock’s golden age and the crystalline sound they quite naturally created when they blended their voices. Who could forget classics like “Walk like an Egyptian” or “Eternal Flame.” Today, historians view the Bangles as one of the greatest all-female bands ever, for its inventive incorporation of ‘60s folk rock and sunny SoCal harmonies. Fresh with a new album, Sweetheart Of The Sun, filled with a new batch of definitive Bangles songs the concert promises to be a night to remember.

Days of Plenty
Days of Plenty is a photography exhibition that engages our primal urge to give thanks for the earth’s bounty and raises questions relating to production, consumption, lack, over abundance and ritual. The tradition of harvest reaches back to the agrarian state of man, as does our desire to celebrate with feast. In our contemporary world abundance seems ever-present and most are removed from the place, process and act of production. Disparities offered through juxtapositions of images work to inspire reflection on the ethics of production and consumption; the ritual of feast; the symbolism of nourishment; the grotesque morbidity of excess.
