The Human Rights Campaign (HRC) is urging LGBT activists and allies to send a letter to The Master’s School in Connecticut urging the institution to reform its policies for its gay and lesbian students. The action is sought in wake of a student who came out only to be formally withdrawn from the school after confirming she was a lesbian.
Lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender students across the United States have been subject to countless forms of discrimination from peers to teachers and other school officials. You can take action now: HRC has a letter petitioning the school to enact a non-discrimination policy, which can be found here.
