Kevin Dillon, co-star in HBO’s Entourage, says Lane Lynch’s lesbian joke was unfair after the funny lady quipped, “A lot people are very curious as to why I’m a lesbian — ladies and gentleman, the cast of Entourage” after introducing the all-male cast to the stage.
“It was funny, but I think it’s not fair at the same time,” Dillon told MSNBC. “We all have good senses of humor but I think the men of ‘Entourage’ treat women well for the most part.”
Kevin Dillon, who plays up-and-coming Johnny Drama on the show, explained that the comment could have come in wake of season one of the show when critics were down on the “male chauvinistic” concept of the show.
On whether or not the hit HBO show will go to the box office, Dillon explained, “I know Mark Wahlberg wants to do it right away. They have to write it first, but we should do it soon while we still have the heat from the show.”
“I didn’t take offense but that’s not what the show is about,” Dillon reiterated.
Partygoers at the HBO after-party were in good spirits, with a vast guest list to include “Glee” stars Dianna Agron, Amber Riley, Jenna Ushkowitz, Darren Criss and Harry Shum Jr., Emmy winners like Julie Bowen, Melissa McCarthy and Guy Pearce, a newly single Joe Manganiello, Jeremy Piven, Chris Noth, William H. Macy, Aziz Asari, Anna Paquin, Stephen Moyer, Seth McFarlane, Jon Voight, Jon Hamm, Sofia Vergara, Olivia Munn, Julia Stiles, Alan Cumming, Kathy Griffin and Denis O’Hare, MSNBC reports.
