ICELAND – The world’s most northernmost capital, Reykjavik, is hosting its annual Bears on Ice weekend Sept. 8-11. This small and friendly four day event (Thursday through Sunday) offers bears, cubs, admirers and friends the opportunity to see a little bit of Iceland and have fun with like minded guys.
The weekend of fun and friendship includes a welcome party, a Golden Circle sightseeing tour, a visit to the world famous geothermal Blue Lagoon, a series of parties and a Sunday farewell brunch.
Iceland’s Prime Minister Jóhanna Sigurardóttir is the world’s first openly gay head of government in modern times. Iceland’s government legalized same-sex marriage in 2010 and adoption by same-sex couples has been legal since 2006
