From magazine photo shoots and Emmy nominations to appearances at San Diego’s own Comic Con 2011, the stars of HBO’s vampire hit “True Blood” seem to be perpetually in the spotlight.

Now, fresh from last week’s pop culture convention, several cast members have joined “True Blood” creator Alan Ball in putting that fame to good use by lending their voices to fight against LGBT bullying and discrimination.

According to MSNBC, Ball and cast members Alexander Skarsgard, Kristin Bauer and Rutina Wesley have all recorded messages for the “It Gets Better” YouTube campaign in an effort to support struggling LGBT teens.
