Comic actor Zach Braff is not gay, despite a message posted to his Facebook account Wednesday announcing his decision to come out of the closet.

MSNBC reports that, according to the online security firm Sophos, Braff was the latest amongst celebrities like Kim Kardashian, Lil Wayne, Rihanna and Amy Winehouse to have his online identity compromised and distorted by hackers.

The false “coming out” message on Braff’s site read, “I am excited and proud to announce that I am an open member of the homosexual community.” It continued, “This is not news to those closest to me, and I honor that they have kept it a secret for such a long time.”

“This doesn’t change anything,” the letter concluded. “I am still Zach Braff, and I am the same man I’ve always been, gay or not.”

Braff, who is currently dating model Taylor Bagley, refuted the hacker’s message via Facebook. He explained that his site was attacked and that he is “still straight” and in love with his girlfriend.

“But not too straight,” the comedian added. “I still love musicals, brunch and Doogie Howser.”
