Please explain …
Could someone please explain to me why all the gay Catholics (like Nicole Murray Ramirez and Ray Carter, from your last issue) are still Catholics? According to the Pope, they are all sinners. What don’t gay Catholics get about the fact that the larger Catholic Church, and its people, don’t want them?
While you belong to an organization, you empower it. If you quit the organization, it loses power. If enough people quit, they lose a lot of power. Simple.
Why won’t they join the Unitarians or the Religious Science Church that welcome gay people? What sort of guilt and repression are all these gay Catholics buying into that won’t let them choose a healthy alternative that won’t continually hurt them?

The gay debate is not a simple one. Its obviously a bigger issue and I can the argument on both sides for same sex marriage. Religion is important to all and government should not dictate to the catholic church they must allow same sex couples the right of adoption. Wrong Wrong Wrong.
