AIDS Walk

The LGBT Center presents the annual AIDS Walk and Run, an event designed to increase awareness about the ongoing HIV/AIDS epidemic and to raise funds for the agencies and programs. AIDS Walk is San Diego’s largest one-day HIV/AIDS fundraiser.

Auntie Helen’s

Started in 1988, Auntie Helen’s provides free laundry service for men, women and children affected by HIV/AIDS.

Being Alive

Being Alive is a support organization that provides access to information, public advocacy and social interaction. Started in 1989 with just six people, Being Alive assists 3,000 people each year.

The LGBT Center

The Center has services specifically designed for the HIV/AIDS community, including HIV testing, food services, support groups, information referrals and much more.

Mama’s Kitchen

A volunteer-driven, nonprofit organization, Mama’s Kitchen prepares and delivers food to men, women and children who are affected by AIDS or cancer.

San Diego POZabilities

San Diego POZabilities (SDP) is a supportive network of HIV-positive men and their friends. SDP connects members through diverse social events in a safe, welcoming environment.

Townspeople

Townspeople helps find housing options for people affected by HIV/AIDS.

Special Delivery San Diego

With 100 percent volunteer staff, Special Delivery delivers nutritious meals for homebound people affected by HIV/AIDS.
