Sacred Transformations, a spiritual healing clinic in North Park, has specialized in a variety of natural energy healing techniques since 2006 and recently expanded to treat erectile dysfunction.
Sara Burns, the owner, has practiced Energy Healing for about 15 years. Throughout her experience, she discovered from several male clients that their high blood pressure medication was making them impotent.
“I could see there was a sense of shame in even wanting to share this with me,” said Burns.
She knew that if her clients learned to control the energies in their bodies, they could significantly improve blood flow and treat erectile dysfunction without the side effects of medications. Western medical treatments, such as Viagra, Cialis or Levitra, affect the liver and create a blockage of energy flow through the body.
By activating a typically dormant energy located at the base of the spine, known as Kundalini, sexual response is heightened naturally.
“When you start using natural products and treatments, then you can begin tapering off medications so that the body can clear the liver, then the energy can begin to flow properly again,” Burns said.
“The liver has a strong aggressive energy which rises,” she continued. “It can cause depression, anger, anxiety, digestive problems, high blood pressure and heart disease. It contributes to other organs being out of balance, not allowing energy to flow down the body properly. I teach which organs carry what emotions and energies, then train clients how to move them encouraging a more natural balanced cycle.”
