Just this past Friday, NBC released the first image of the face for their new “Wonder Woman” remake, in full costume. Taking on Lynda Carter’s role and slipping into the red, blue, and gold vinyl ensemble will be “Friday Night Lights” star Adrianne Palicki.
Palicki’s casting in the show was announced last month. The pilot has yet to be broadcasted, but the revealing of the contemporary “Wonder Woman” costume has already sparked intrigue in onlookers.
James Hibberd, on EW.com, stated that, “NBC promises the project, if picked up to series, will offer a serious, non-campy take on the DC Comics character.”
