The Gay and Lesbian Leadership Institute has announced a program to bring five college students to Washington, D.C., this summer to participate in the Victory Congressional Internship.
This competitive leadership program places college undergraduates in Congressional internships with members of the LGBT Equality Caucus. They’ll also have access to leadership development opportunities provided by GLLI and will be required to participate in a community service project.
“The VCI program will prepare young LGBTQ people to become informed decision-makers and influential leaders who can change their communities and our world,” according to the program web site.
