February 13th, 2011
In December 2009, Annise Parker made history when she was elected to lead Houston, Texas making it the largest U.S. city with an openly LGBT mayor. On February 13, 2011, she’ll help kick off the 20th anniversary of the Gay & Lesbian Victory Fund at their annual champagne brunch in San Diego.
The Victory Fund’s mission is to elect LGBT people to public office, as well as secure presidential appointments. In 2010, more openly LGBT candidates won election to public office than in any year in America’s history. Help the Victory Fund continue to expand the LGBT community’s voice at all levels of government in 2011.
Join Mayor Parker and the Victory Fund as they celebrate 20 years of success and look ahead to the next 20 years of electing LGBT leaders to change American politics.
Don’t miss this elegant and fun-filled event.
