World-renowned breast cancer expert, author and activist, Dr. Susan Love is scheduled to be the keynote speaker and host of Lesbians & Breast Cancer: A Town Hall Forum at the San Diego Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Community Cen-ter. The Center is located at 3909 Centre Street San Diego, 92103. The forum will take place on Saturday, Jan. 29 from 9 a.m. to noon.
The discussion is open to the public and free to attend, courtesy of a grant by the BCAUSE FUND housed at the San Diego Human Dignity Foundation. The schedule includes a free breakfast, followed by a presentation and Q&A session with Dr. Love. In addition, she will be available for a meet and greet, photo opportunities and to sign copies of her breast cancer book following the event.
Dr. Love is the New York Times best-selling author of Dr. Susan Love’s Breast Book. This year commemorates the 20-year anniversary of the groundbreaking book, which is still referred to as “the bible for women with breast cancer.”
